Blinds Structure for SNG

I just opened an account at Party to take advantage of a promo. I have never played there before about a week ago or so, but was really disappointed with the blind structure in the STT SNG. I must preface this with saying that I have only played at bodog before. Bodog STT SNG starting chips = 1000 starting blinds 5/10 so 100 BB, Party starting chips =800, Starting blinds = 10/15 so only 53 BB to start with. At party I feel like I am immediately under a LOT of pressure to accumulate chips. I don't like it.

Is there a standard on this? What do you guys think about this? What are the Starting chips and Blinds at other places you guys play.

Re: Blinds Structure for SNG

I first started a Party Poker and thought the setup there was tough(small stacks and quick blind increases), but i got used to it. I ventured to Poker Stars to get into the Chiptalk tournaments and I found their SNG to fit my style of play.

Poker Stars SNG 9 players
Starting Stack is 1500
Bilnds start at 10/20 and go up every 10 minutes,(maybe 15 minutes)

The $5 SNG has a rake of 50 cents versus Party Poker's $1. Poker Starts Rake seems to be lower on all games versus Party Poker

Re: Blinds Structure for SNG

There's no standard, party is a quick tournament. 55's and up use 1500 chips and the same structure. I also prefer the blind structure at 'stars.
