Search Feature on PokerRoom.com

Is it just me, or does the search feature on pokerroom.com suck? Maybe I'm not doing something right, but last night I tried to find a player and got no useful info or even a link to the table where they were playing. I picked out a screen name of a player playing at table "Greenberg", when I typed his screenname in the search window the only info that was given, was that this player was at "Poker 4", and it did not include a link to the table. It did not even give the table name "Greenberg".

Useless.

Chuck

That's the PR search feature alright. I last played there some months ago, and e-mailed support to ask what 'poker 4' meant. I was told they were having some trouble with the search feature and were planning to upgrade it. Nice to see they are on the ball.

Re: Search Feature on PokerRoom.com

I encountered the same problem. Searched for someone on my new team (currently the "Allins") whom I knew to be online (based on info on the team page) and it came up "Poker 4" with no link. I also had trouble making an initial deposit, and now I cannot make a deposit into the team wallet. They're not impressing me with their customer service.

Also, the instant hand history is poor. It always opens a new browser window to show the history, even if I already have a history window open. Half the time, its says info is not available. There are so many ways to make this easier -- FullTilt has the best way to quickly review a hand history.

Whine whine whine. So far, the competition is mediocre, so that compensates.

I've been on Pokerroom for a year or so and the one thing i can say...and any other Pokerroom veterans will agree....is that their customer service really sux. The search fearture is and always has been a joke. "Poker 4" refers to the server that the player you are looking for is on. Nothing of any use.
The graphics during play are good, and it's one of the only places that I can play on my Mac. It is also cool that you can play on any other computer without having to download anything, using their java client. They also pay promptly when you cash out. Just don't rely on them when you run into a problem...

I withdrew from PStars twice recently -- once for the Pokerroom deposit and once for another site (don't hate me because I'm a bonuswhore). My withdrawal on PStars to NeTeller in both cases was instantaneous -- like 1 second. That's freaking service, baby!

Re: Search Feature on PokerRoom.com

FWIW, I tried to cashout of Hollywood Poker using Neteller but I found out that you have to first make a deposit with NT to Hollywood Poker (and I'm assuming all other sites) before you can use it for a withdraw.
