Two royals for sure - but was screwing around on Pokerrooms Chinese Poker game.







Those of you who think that Ohama has too many cards, try 13.

What - no comments on Chinese Poker?

That 1st hand was a 3 way monster. The only vulernable holding was the middle straight - as it was pretty low.






Of course, I could be the only one here crazy enough to play this game (even thouugh I will not play it for real $$$)

pokerroom has a play money version

you get 13 cards - and make 3 hands. 2 x 5 card and one 3 card. The hands are then matched against the other players. You have to make the hands rank in decending order (top 5 card hand has to beat 2nd 5 card hand which has to beat 3 card hand).

Interesting twists as sometimes you need to sacrifice one average hand to make 2 other good hands in order to be able to beat the other players. Like splititng up a weak to pair hand to drop a pair to the 3 card hand.


Makes Omaha look easy. They do have a couple of cheater buttons to help - listing the hands by suit, pairs, or numerical order.

Can just be brutal headsup.

Sounds kind of like Pai Gow poker to me! Never tried this other game.

the concept of building teh hands is almost exactly like pai gow.

One differnece is that you are playing against other players, not the house.

You also play against each player individually - not winner take all. So you can run into one monster hand, yet still make mone off of the other guys (or break even),
