The only way I can see laying this down is due to a strong read on the button. How had he been playing on the bubble? Tight/scared, solid/aggressive. Had he stolen a lot lately? I think this is very read dependent. |

If I had gotten 2 more blind steals in & been in this position I'd felt better about it.
Thanks... Just not what I wanted to see UTG since I wanted to at least cash here. Most of my doubt came in that I fig'd there was a good chance someone would push and I'd have to call so why not just put it all in... just hoping to have an out with an unfavorable flop.

You would prefer him to have KK, QQ, or JJ (over the AK or AQ), since your odds are slightly better of you improving and him not improving. Good play.
And what happened? |

Sucks that the button woke up. So how did all this turn out? I'm going to make a wild stab at AK, AA, AQ, KK |

Well given the stacks, bubble & being under the gun was just curious if any would have layed it down thinking you'd be better off wating 2-3 hands to attempt a steal.
Thanks.
