Poker Tracker vs. PokerOffice

I've used up my free time on Poker Tracker. Still using PokerOffice. I'm going to register and get one of them.

For those that have used one or both, why do you like the one you have?

I've actually found PT to be a detriment.

I know a few players who have both and they say PT is more versatile with more features but it is harder to use while PO is easier to use. Take your pick, either ease of use or more features.

Why is that? It's helped me in the last week to adjust my style to a hihger level of aggression and tighter play, leading to me making a nice winning. I can see relying on it being detrimental though.

I just find myself putting in raises I normally wouldn't so PT will say I'm "aggressive". I lost more than I care to admit when using PT to analyze my Party/Empire/Poker Room play. The past two bonuses for Party and Empire were used without help from PT and I came out way ahead both times using my usual style.

I only have experience with PT.

Plus, pat at PT is a real nice guy and answers all questions.

EDIT: (removed wrong information)

Just goes to confirm what I suspected--if you suck, then these programs will just point that out to you and make you play even suckier. That's why I never bothered with them. Although I think books are the same way, and I buy those. I think you just have to be born a certain way. Most of the pros seem to be good at chess, backgammon or golf, and I am terrible at all of those, too.

So use PT if you are already good and want a program to confirm this. Don't waste your money if you suck--you'll always suck, like me. Your only hope is finding people who suck even more than you. That's why I'm better at live poker.

Where did you see this? I know quite a few people who use PO and have never gotten a warning. It does the same thing as PokerTracker with a heads up display built in.

Programs like Poker Prophecy are banned, but this is first I've heard of Poker Office being banned.
