What the hell I saw 2 Straight flushes in 1 room on Poker Stars at the same time. Now I've been playing on-line poker for about a year and on Poker Stars over a month at least 2 hours or more a day. I have in all this time never seen a straight flush be laid out let alone 2 in the same hand. This seemed crazy???? Has any one else ever seen this happen in on-line poker? By the way the guy with the 8-Q got it over the guy with the 7-J

I've had a straight flush twice, once online. Board came 5 4 7 6 or something. I had the 8 and another player had the 3 (!!)

I hit 2 last night at PS at the Omaha8 PL tables within about 10 minutes of each other (different tables).

First one was a Q-8 with no low on the board and second one was a Steel Wheel (A-5) that I scooped in O8 tourney; placed 2nd in the tourney.

I've only had 3 in about the last 4 months and 2 of them were last night.

So you're the one!! That sounds like the very hand I lost on!!!

I've have just one straight flush over the last year on poker stars (excluding my one royal flush). I had the low end of the straight flush and the other guy had the high end of the straight flush. I lost a huge pot on that hand. I was hoping the guy had the Ace instead of the top of the straight flush. Ah well.

I was playing like a real a-hole one time and I caught the ass end of a straight flush with 27... I lost to the higher one. Serves me right.

Speaking of Straight Flushes. I signed up for a Party Poker account and sat down at the play money tables to try out the interface.

This is my very 1st hand I was dealt at Party Poker today:


I think either they are trying to get me to deposit real money or it's a very good sign!!! Can't wait for the PokerSourceOnline.com free money to get deposited. And oh ya, it was a major suck out on my part. I was in the Big Blind and just couldn't pass up a chance at a str8flush.

Update: Wow - coincidence. I went back to Poker Stars tonight and played a Sit-n-Go and got another straight flush tonight! A-2-3-4-5 spades. I had the Ace and 5 of spades in my hand and made the hand on the turn. I should buy a lotto ticket tonight.
