Is it bad luck to talk about lucky cards???

I've been on a pretty nice run on-line lately but tonight this game really topped it all.

It's a STT and one of the first hands I got the nut flush. I wasn't paying close attention though and didn't notice the paired board. Bam I lost 2/3 of my stack to a full house.

So its early and I'm nursing my wounds. I get pocket 10s and raise almost half my stack. Two quick callers. An ace hits on the flop so I throw my hand away.

I'm down to about 300 in chips when everybody else has about 2000. I'm waiting for a hand and finally get 44, but somebody had already limped in. Ignoring the Harrington vig rule I push all my chips in. I'm thinking he's got 2 high cards, classic race scenario. Nope he has JJ. I'm dead in the water until the turn when the miracle 4 comes up! I'm still alive!

The very next hand I pick up rockets. Yes. And the guy behind has TT. We push all our chips in and the aces hold up. I've got over 2k in chips now. Back in the game!

So I'm doing alright, taking it easy after my miraculous ressurection when I pick up rockets again. This time its against the same guy. We didn't get our chips in before the flop but he hit a king and pushed all-in on my small continuation bet. I'm actually feeling sorry for the guy to get done in by AA from the same guy but that quickly changes when he hits another K. @#*@!

Now I'm back on life support with about 900 in chips. I'm waiting...waiting...waiting for anything to go all-in with. Right before the BB is about to hit me I pick up A8. I push all-in. Once caller with I believe a small pocket pair. Anyways I'm behind the w hole hand until I fill a straight on the river with my 8.

I'm stlll a little stunned from my good fortune when a couple hands later I pick up KK. I manage to knock another player out.

So its down to the final four. Action is pretty tight on the bubble. I managed to sneak a few blinds with semi-bluff all-ins. Finally I get JJ in the BB. Guy in 1st position raises. I'm not sure what he's got but if I lose out on hooks now I can't be too mad. I push all-in, hoping for a call. He does with KJ. Even better than I thought. My pair holds up and its Money Time.

From there nothing too spectacular happened...I'm drawing a complete blank now...but managed to finish in 1st.

What a crazy rollercoaster ride. I've never had a game with so many ups and downs.

It's not bad luck to talk about the cards, but you should email support for the site you are playing at so they can flip your "win switch" off for a while...

So much drama in one SNG. Sounds about normal.

Yeah but its my drama. See its all about me.

My luck finally ran out last night. I tried to make the biggest comeback possible---down to one chip. After losing a big hand I pick up 77 in BB. Flop comes 77x. Quads with only one chip!! Now I've got a respectable $20 with 15/30 blinds.

Next hand I pick up 63o in SB. I throw in the last chip hoping to scare them out. It didn't work but they should've listened---I make trip sixes and my bankroll is up to $80. I'm back in it! Only $14,920 away from winning it all!

I don't want to push my luck so I fold a couple of hands, waiting for the right one. Finally she arrives, Big Slick, and I go all-in. Some fool calls with 77. Idiot. Doesn't he know I have lady luck on my side? But apparently she took a break cause no ace or king came. How can that be? My fairytale can't be over this soon, doesn't everybody know I'm the king of suckouts??

Oh well, my run is over. I can't complain---I'd made the money in 10 straight tournaments. It has been a great week.

This should answer the question you asked in the title of this thread.
