Virginians took the top two spots this week (congrats to VARoastter and Seitz333). And there were 3 Virginians in the top 6. Of course I finished 6th. DAMN BUBBLE! Congrats!!!
I'm still is disbelief over yesterday. I was card dead for the first half of the tourney and crippled myself in a bluffing battle with Ten out of the blinds (I blinked first). I think I was down to about 500 in level 4 with only 2 guys out.
I lost track of the number of hands where I was all-in with a big ace against A-rag and doubled up. Tie that together with winning every race I got involved in (I lost one hand at the showdown all night) and there's the key. I got mad lucky.
We're taking over the online private Chiptalk tournament poker world! Props to the 10th state "loosely affiliated collection" (crew, mob, gang, and mafia were already taken).
i think i would have won if yeltzen wasn't using his voodoo powers on my cards. somebody really should make some rules against using black magic in tourneys.
