NOT A BAD BEAT POST:

alright, it was a little bit of a bad beat. but that's not the point here. my question is just: why? i respect your game, so i'm interested in hearing what your thoughts were here.

here's the transcript, and my thoughts.

Use the hand converter man. It still needs some work on some things but it does sort of work. I have not counted the antes. Dammit!

Weakest play of the night. On your all-in I put you on a middle pair (somewhere around 77) and I was willing to race for it. The jacks were a surprize and I deserved a good spanking there. Your comments said that I called quickly so I think that agrees with my comments here - I had made up my mind what your raise meant. If I had taken my time thinking about it I would have dropped. I have a nasty habit of staying in hands when I have chips in the pot (one of my biggest weaknesses). When I can control it I usually do well, when I don't I usually get my ass handed to me.

Also, I was thinking more about the TOC. Once it got down to 5 I was sure I was in (I think Philly was just eliminated or maybe one sooner). I got sloppy because I had already reached my goal.
