Table had played pretty tight with plenty of steals and squashing of steal attempts a somewhat common occurance as well. Deckard26354's raise of $1,111 seemed to be his raise amount for the night at this point as he had raised that maount the last 7-8 times he raised a pot.
I was told calling the last $1,460 was a terrible call. I went to bed running through the numbers and what I was thinking at the time, and I'm sorry to Mr. Deckard26354, but you were out of line. I called $1,460 to win $9,535 - if that makes me an idiot than I guess you truly are a better poker player than I. Criticize the raise, but not the call on the end. There had been plenty of stealing and a good deal of lay-downs to raises of steal attempts - I decided to protect my blind and push you off your hand. I had also decided I was going to start playing very aggressive - I had not played many hands the last 8-10 orbits.
I guess I just didn't appreciate being spoken to like a chump last night for calling your all-in. In hindsight I think you'll see the hand differently, but regardless, I thought it might be a hand to discuss and maybe learn something from.
