Chips: 1,555 | | | Official ChipTalk Internet Poker Tournement #1 Wondering if there would be any interest in putting together a ChipTalk online poker tourney. This could be easily set up on a site like PokerStars. This could be a one time thing or set up as a regular weekly or monthly event.

Chips: 951 | | | i'm definitely down for a Chiptalk tourney, and pokerstars makes it very easy to have private tourneys on their site...i voted for the $10 - $24 option, leaning more towards the lower side so that more people could do it, plus maybe we could make it a weekly thing...

Chips: 14,330 | | | I'm down for a PokerStars tourney. They host lots of private tourneys that I participate in.

Chips: 39,028 | | | Love the idea. Small stakes, like $5-10 for the first tourney, just to see how many participate. Who wants to be the organizer? |

Chips: 1,555 | | | I could certainly help organize it as I've participated in a few private tourney's on PokerStars with my ChipBoard collectors group.
If we get enough interest I could help gather some private email messages with a password and set it up.
PokerStars would typically charge a +$ fee for hosting it that everyone would pay. Example: A $5 tourney would tack on a $0.50 charge. A $10 tourney entry would charge a $1 fee. This is all in-lieu of taking a rake with each hand.
Depending on the number of people, its typically paying out the top 3 finishers plus adding 1 extra payout for every 9 players.
I'd prefer a no-limit hold'em format. Everyone would start out at 1500 chips and the blinds would go up every 10-15 minutes or so.
Once we get enough interest then we'll follow-up on what night would work out best for everyone. |

Chips: 1,861 | | | I'll play if it's NLHE on stars (only decent structure/software on the 'net), I'll play for up to $25, I would prefer $10. It would be cool if we could get them to increase the time of the levels. If we make it a weekly thing will they run a "TLB" for us?

Chips: 1,861 | | | TLB is thier "tournament leader board" which is an almalgamation of how you've done over the year/month/week. I'm pretty sure they can make private leagues.
