Bumpage. Are there just fewer people out there playing online? I'll offer up a bounty if we get 20+ players tonight!

Congrats to blownholley50.
I'd really like to hear from some of the old regulars that are missing the games. Are you all retired or just taking a break?

Re: Chiptalk Y6Q1 WME #4
I'll give you my two cents on why I've lost interest in CT games.
For me, it's the use of tracking software and things like +ev/-ev hand analyzers and other software that helps you make decisions. I think it takes away from the spirit of the game that I came here to play. This tournament is not about making a buck, it's not a game where I need to run every scenario through a program to let me know if I should call, fold or raise. For me it was about playing with a group of friends with something in common, and to test poker skill, to have some fun. If I can't make game decisions like that on my own merit, then one of things I love about poker is gone. I just get the feeling more and more are using them for our games, and that simply does not sit well with me. I feel our game is above that.
It's also the reason I don't play on line any longer.
Of course, this is just my jaded opinion.
I will still play a game here or there, but I've pretty much hung up my CT crown.

Well stated... not the reason I am sitting out so much, but have heard from many that tey use the tools versus their own skills.

Re: Chiptalk Y6Q1 WME #4
wow-- didnt know the ct group was that competitve to use software to win.......
i personally was never going to play again after one of the sponsors screwd us on a prize that they promised last Qtr--- pretty crappy imo.... i just dont have much on weds going on anymore so might as well play. I always like to play these because there was always a kick/layed back feeling about it-- no drama-- just some good poker-- yeah we all get screwed here and there but its part of the game and deff part of Poker Stars but still fun.. No trash talking etc... oh well... I personally likeed tring to win the plaques--main reason i played !!
