The Windy City Blowout II is on. If you are interested in attending the upcoming Chicago ChipTalk meet-up on 11/16-11/18 (and haven't already done so) please post here or PM me.

We've got a great time planned that includes cash games, SNGs, a head's up tournament, a NLHE main event, chip trading, door prizes, great food and drink and all the camraderie you can imagine.

Time to bump this thread. We have a few openings and the weather is beautiful in Chi-town. We've got lots of raffle prizes and an outstanding custom chipset for the Main Event too.

There will definitely be SnGs, cash games, Heads-up tourney and a deep stack main event. We're also working out details for a possible HORSE tourney.

If you haven't yet attended a ChipTalk meet-up, you don't know what you're missing.

Jamby,

I would like to make at least part of it to meet some of the people here.

Unfortunately, I already have my last league game scheduled for 11/18 so that is out for me.

I may be able to make the 16th and/or 17th depending on some family commitments which unfortunately are unknown at this time (my sister is very sick).

Sounds good to me.

One thing for the future; it would be infinitely better if this weekend coincided with a Bears home game. Making the cross country trip is expensive and most of that is the flight. Plunking down a few hundred for a flight for some poker is one thing, but if I could catch a game at Soldier Field it is a no brainer.

The first meetup was awesome so I don't mean to take anything away from that, merely suggesting if you are going to select something of a random weekend it might lure more of us West Coasters out if that weekend coincided with some other tourist trap.

Understand about prior commitments and difficulties of travel. This was the weekend that worked for most of the early committed attendees and most importantly for our host. That's of course a critical element in planning such events.
