Hi guys! I had no idea that there was a page for me to introduce myself on until I found it today. Where to begin...
My name is Eric and I from Orlando, FL. I am 36 years old and I married my high school sweetheart, Rachel, 12 years ago. We have two boys and we just found out that we have a third on the way, due in November. I have been a member of CT since 2006 but always been a "lurker" trying to gain as much knowledge as I could about chips before I made a real investment in them. I guess maybe having our first son in early 2007 slowed my chip buying down unexpectedly. I can remember when the group buys were going up for awesome sets back then and to have seen the Matsui's come to fruition from start to final completion was an amazing process. I love those chips and only wish I had got my hands on them.
It wasn't until I finally purchased some Paulson starbursts this week that I finally had the courage to come out of the shadows and take part in chiptalk. I feel like I know so many of you guys personally because I have read countless posts and laughed because of your great attitude about this "sickness" that attacks our wallets first and has no known cure. I have tried to protect my wallet for 4 years but now that it is infected, I'm thinking the only cure might be another credit card.
I have a love affair with solids like Starbursts, Fun Nites, and roulette chips(I LOVE the Aztars!!!). Once I have satisfied my needs there, I am looking forward to getting my hands on some great casino sets, and I am ALWAYS liking the group buys that you guys have put together so I might have to get in on one(or three) of those.
