Chips: 306 | | | What I’ve learned after 3 months of CT 1. “Check your wallet at the door” isn’t a friendly suggestion, it’s an incontrovertible fact. 2. Oiling clay chips makes a world of difference—nice tip! 3. Faux clays are a lot like a girlfriend I once had: fun, cheap, & dyed. 4. The creativity, group projects, reviews, and advice coming from this group is absolutely incredible—man, I’m glad I found this place. 5. The best lesson: when your spouse/partner/roommate starts questioning the number of chips you have, show them a few of the “whole-table-completely–covered-in-20-deep-stacks” shots around here, and you’re off the hook (at least temporarily). Or show them one of the “my chip collection arranged in the shape of a 6’ high Eiffel tower” shots, and suddenly “wasting time” watching Fletch for the 30th time becomes relative. NOTE: I think those shots are impressive and consider them time well spent, but if it helps me delay a few chores, I’m gonna play that card. Thanks for making me feel welcome. |

One set of chips per player invited over to your house, about right. |
