1. “Check your wallet at the door” isn’t a friendly suggestion, it’s an incontrovertible fact.
2. Oiling clay chips makes a world of difference—nice tip!
3. Faux clays are a lot like a girlfriend I once had: fun, cheap, & dyed.
4. The creativity, group projects, reviews, and advice coming from this group is absolutely incredible—man, I’m glad I found this place.
5. The best lesson: when your spouse/partner/roommate starts questioning the number of chips you have, show them a few of the “whole-table-completely–covered-in-20-deep-stacks” shots around here, and you’re off the hook (at least temporarily). Or show them one of the “my chip collection arranged in the shape of a 6’ high Eiffel tower” shots, and suddenly “wasting time” watching Fletch for the 30th time becomes relative. NOTE: I think those shots are impressive and consider them time well spent, but if it helps me delay a few chores, I’m gonna play that card.

That line is an instant classic. Well played.
Just to add a line to your list.
6. One set of chips is NEVER enough.
