Did my mom's for her last night... HAd her about $2,000. Sent her the returns. She looked at them and said, "You forgot to add this." (No mom, you forgot to tell me about that.) Anyway, after adding about $4800 in income, she dropped down to about a $550 refund. The $4800 was just enough to put her over the limit for claiming a few tax credits.

Man I remember when these were all over eBay. Had to be about 5 or 6 years ago now, but they were going for like $.80 each for a long time. I remember thinking "The shaped inlay is cool, but the inlay is too plain and what is with the $20 and $50 denominations?" Now of course when I look forward to my custom chips the cash set MUST have a $20 chip and probably a few $50's as well. These are one of my all time regrets. Man I am dumb.

You know what Julian, that's not a bad idea... I'll be there in May if you find any!

I remember there was one giant offering at first (20K pieces?). Now that I think about it someone from Baltimore bought the whole set (IIRC), I wonder if that was our pal NJ?

Obviously this was well before CT, but I thought about trying to get some folks together for a GB type of thing.
