Chips: 256 | | | Re: Custom Ceramic Chip Group Buy I would seriously be interested in a set of these for cash games. Especially now that you granted my wish of lower denoms. This set looks gorgeous and at a price that is much lower than anything else that has comparable quality (IMO). A few finishing touches are needed, but I believe some of these may have been already addressed:
The CB "mold" doesnt work so well on the $100 and $1000 chips (which I dont intend to purchase, just my opinion).
I feel that all the chips should either have "The" or not. Personally, I think that they should all just say "Condado Beach". This is not a deal breaker for me, as long as they're all the same, one way or another.
Maybe some sort of stripe design on the 25center, like a black stripe at 2, 6 and 10 o'clock would be nice.
I really like the WSOP nod on the 1k chip, whether it was intentional or not. Maybe you could do the same with the 100 chip. |

Chips: 1,816 | | | Re: Custom Ceramic Chip Group Buy the wording will be the same on all the chips, just want to show a few different ways to do it. Fins showed me a few new fonts that i think will work much better...still script, but not as detailed. this will still have a look like the originals, but more legible. he said he'll be able to post them in a few days. actually i'll post the samples he sent me in a few minutes.
for the CB in the "mold", i'm going to try making each chip different by putting one CB in between each spots so none are hidden or overlapped. i'll post it later. |

Chips: 1,816 | | | Re: Custom Ceramic Chip Group Buy not sure what NJ's plans are on that. we're already at 9 denoms now and that may be pushing it. (that's not even counting a 5K plaque if they decide to go with that). i think we'll know more on our options by the weekend. |

If these are textured will there be any problem with blurring causing the thin script to become hard to read? I personally think the font looks great and really like the look I am just wondering how the printing process will impact the final look.
once again great work Stank and thanks for all of the mockups, and thanks to fins for helping as well. |

I'm not trying to be captain obvious, but maybe only 6 "CB"s on the 1k (one per gap), and 6 "CB"s on the 1 and 100 (2 per gap). I know you said you were working on it and I'm not trying to insult anyones skills. I have the Adobe CS and I can't even use it for anything. And for the $100 a light grey "mold" should look good I think.
Also on the quarter chip could you do a "V" spot using the black and white. I think that would be cool cuz I plan to order a bunch of 25c and V-spot is my favorite. Even the current color/location with two V's would be awesome (I've never seen a chip 2 opposing V's, its usually 3).
And just in case your not already sick of my opinions, i think a different color spot besides green on the purple $500 would work better. I'm not feeling the green on purple, maybe orange, pink, or something else. (not that i'm going to buy the $500 chip now, but maybe down the road, you never know). |

Chips: 1,816 | | | Re: Custom Ceramic Chip Group Buy i love thea "V" spot idea...i'll get on it. still haven't fixed the "CB"'s yet. the $500 HAS to stay as is (at least in my opinion). it's my favorite chip of the original set, although i dont like the exact shade of the green on my mock-ups...going to try to get closer with that.
