Thumbs up Very Interesting

My first impression is that I'm not too big on the mold ... but the selection of edgespot patterns is awesome ... awaiting more details.

To each their own, but I like tri-colored edgespots.

Sloppy edgespots can be cool ...

If you want that, do ceramics.

The clay compression process will never give you what you are asking for...and for most people, that's part of the "charm".

You missed it, he wants the edgespots NOT perfect. So basicly the way clay edgeposts naturally are.

Exactly! I was just afraid that whoevers going to produce the chips makes them "too perfect".

Re: Compression Molded Clay Chips - Soon available !!

Wow, these seem to have sparked quite an interest. I can't say I'm not excited too!

I can not answer many of your questions at this time I'm afraid.

The mold design in the first post is just something I made quickly in PaintShop Pro for that particular mockup. We have not yet decided on a mold and suggestions are warmly welcomed.

We want to offer both hotstamped chips, blanks and custom inlays to the home market if possible.

I don't know when samples will become available, but I promise to keep you updated in this thread.

I don't think there will be any mold choices at first. We might create one mold for the home market and another one for casinos to maximize security. With time we will probably add more mold choices. If we want to offer blanks, we might even create three molds to maximize the security of non-blank homemarket orders.

The edgespots are unlikely to be "straight" as these will be compression molded, not injection molded like the ProGens.
