Re: Compression Molded Clay Chips - Soon available !!
Great news, first of all!
I'm not a big fan of that new WSOP edgespot so I hope there will be a couple of egdspot-designs to choose from when it comes to ordering!
I'm still a fan of the 'classic'(-Paulson) edgespots so I think a nice mixture of 'classic' and 'new/modern' edgespots would be nice.

I realize you don't have answers now but I'd guess most folks are going to want to know:
1. Cost
2. If custom inlay, hotstamp, and/or blanks are available (probably in that order)
3. Body & spot color choices
4. Inlay sizes (if available)
5. Weight
6. Samples available
7. Mold choices (in any)
8. Approximate turnaround time
I'm very intrigued by this. You said these would be more like Paulsons (the spot choices are certainly Paulson) than Progens, but that's like saying these will be more like a Ferrari than a Scion, there's a lot of room for varying quality in that description.
As far as new spot patterns you could maybe add some of these types (not sure if they're all physcially possible):

Another great idea, I like it! However, I have noticed not only here but on a couple of other chips, the use of 3 different colored edge spots. See pattern #'s 4, 5 and 6. IMHO this looks absolutely CRAPPY on a poker chip and really messes up the look of the chips when stacked.

Matt. Please just make sure that the edgespots are not completly perfect and straight. They should look like they are "painted" on the chip, if you know what I mean.
