After Ten comes and asks that some sort of control be used when making replicas, one could find your decission to be very self centered, and not in the best interest of the hobby to make the most amazing replicas ever created. Granted, you don't have to worry about US copyright laws, but you do have to deal with your self over the long haul. Again, I don't have one dime invested it this sight, so my opinion don't mean much. If I did, you would be infringing on someone elses product.

And for whatever flack you are going to take over this, I can't help but think this is just a poker chip not some sort of Mona Lisa knock off, of which there are millions of those already. |

Chips: 488 | | | Re: Coming Up - Dunes Replicas !! OK, so I'll go out on a limb here and guess these will be ceramic replicas of the original clay chips... Therefore only 1% of the population (most of whom are eBay sellers) are dumb enough to try to pass it off as authentic. I'm a fan of the Chipco Vineyards, I'm a fan of the Matsui WSOPs, I'm a fan of the Condado Beach and Binion's tribute ceramics, and I'm sure I'll be a fan of these Dunes ceramic replicas.
Matt, I for one think this is a great idea and I can wait to see prototypes! |
