They look pretty nice, but I think the smooth surface would be better then the textured. How come they cost almost 2x as much as other SF chips?

Thanks. Smooth chips is a possibility ofcourse. Personally I prefer the feel of the textured ones. Also, they are a bit heavier and more like ChipCo chips that I'm used to. This in not the final price by any means. The final price will probably be much lower. It depends on the size of the group buy and weither or not I can get a special price on the chips for this group buy. I think I read somewhere that Palm Imports got a special, very low, price for the Bellagio group buy. I think it was a one time opportunity and it does not represent what the chips are worth or will be sold for in the future. I will, of course, do what I can too lower the price as much as possible. After the group buy has ended though, €0.38 is probably what I will be selling the chips for.

Weird to be on this side of the pond, experiencing what the Euro's typically experience, but what do you see happening here with US orders? Are they going to be made in China, shipped to Sweden, then re-distributed to customers in the US?

Good luck on this, and please dont take my comments as negative, as I am hoping to only offer constructive criticism.

First off, these chips have been done in several runs and are burnt to the ground in my opinion.....another retailer is offering them customizable, so I think you are losing alot of market potential (even for just a group buy) on one hand by choosing to go the wsop route personally, but hey, they are great chips and there's possible still some demand for these, though not near as much as something never done before....Like the Foxwoods new tournament chips (HINT)

Secondly, a few of the denominations are changing this year, and will be completely different, as we have already seen the new 5k chips they have...If you do this line, you MUST re-design to replicate the new chips in order to have a strong interest in my opinion, and make this whole thing worthwhile at all.....Again, good luck, just offering my opinion.

I agree with your comments 100%, if he were a US retailer. But there seems to be a huge gap in availability in Europe, and he might be able to tap into that by offering these chips there...

Good point, you're definetly right there...I didnt take that into account.

Still, re-doing chips that no longer exist in the tournament and are from last year seems a little counter productive, though making them available for people who like the old chips isn't a bad idea....But being the first to have a new replica of the re-designed chips is where its at...Hell, you'd have an order from me right here to update my collection and probably every other WSOP replica owner.
