Mardi Gras Clays

Hey,

I recently bought a 500 chip set of the Mardi Gras Clays from HPC for $549 i believe it was. I got them (ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL CHIPS), oiled them up very nice, and haven't gotten to use them EVEN ONCE. I can never get enough people together to play a big tourny so it really just hasnt worked out for me.

I've (unfortunately) decided to sell them. Ive had probably 15 different chips sets in the past, including paulson and ceramic NJ's among others, and without a doubt I like these chips the best of any set I've ever owned.

Im also selling them because financially, I pretty much need to sell them as well, because I cant afford to fall behind on my bills, etc right now.

If anyone is interested, please PM me or email me MKersey24@hotmail.com

Please note: These are in MINT/PERFECT/BRAND NEW condition, and I even spent the hours oiling them, etc...

I should also add that they will come in a new 500 chip case of course.

Here is a review and pictures of these chips from ChipTalk's own review section...

Couple things. First you might want to post this in the Marketplace Area - Member-to-Member sales. Also, some pics of your chips, denoms and quantity and a ballpark price would be a start too.

Like I said, I cant afford to keep them RIGHT NOW, and especially since Im not getting enough people to play.

I am interested in those WSOP group buys (which buy the way will be 80-87cents each, alot lower than the 1.15 each that the mardi gras are listed at). Also, from day 1 ive wanted a WSOP set, just never seen anything until now that even resembles, also, I wouldnt have to pay for these until alot further down the road.

Anyway,

Ill post pics of my own if people would like me too. There are 500 chips in the set. I dont have the exact breakdown with me at work right now, but its something like:

100 - $25 green

250 - $100 black

100 - $500 purple

50 - Lt. Blue non-denom (I would use it for prolly $1,000)

-I got the lt blue because it was the prettiest chip in my opinion of the set. So i got it non-denom so i can use it for whatever denomination)

I dont really have a ballpark price, im basically just taking offers on them... otherwise Im sure ill end up throwing them on ebay if nothing good comes along. Just thought id throw them on here for the members if they were interested, because i remember before i bought them that there was a couple threads going of people that were interested.

I always come to this forum for a good laugh.

"Yeah, I bought this $500 chipset and I suddenly realized that, ha! I can't get a full tournament together! Imagine that!!"

No one believes you.

"Oh, I mean... well, I, um... okay, I actually want in on the WSOP group buy! Yeah! That's it!"

Just be honest. They're Blue Chips. No one will be shocked that you're not thrilled with the awesome QC they have.

No one has to believe me if they dont want to, and if I wasnt happy with the quality I woulda sent them right back for a full refund. IMO, they are absolutely the best chips I've ever had, including my paulson JB's.

I stand by these chips 100%, if for some reason the buyer isnt happy, send them back in the same condition and ill give 100% refund.

If no one hear is intersted, its not a big deal, i planned on putting them on ebay by the weekend as it is. I was just putting them on ChipTalk because I thought someone might like a set, pre-oiled, and cheaper than they can get them thru HPC.... not a big deal, i dont understand why everyone is giving me a hard time???

Because it doesn't make any sense to buy a set of chips for $500+ and then suddenly realize you can't use them/don't want them.
