I didn't make up stories as to why I was selling them.
I said I didn't like them.
Maybe there are others who have a sense of pride and don't really want the embarassment of saying "I'm selling them because I'm short on dough and need the cash." You managed to beat it out of the poor guy, though. Nice job!

This same thing happened when the Nevada Jacks clays went down to $0.90. Everyone was posting about how they just ordered a set, then 3 days later they were selling them. Their "wife" said they couldn't have them so they just had to sell them to avoid her wrath. What was really happening was that the NJs had so many spinnies that it was pretty much unbearable. Well, the people that bought them didn't know about this so they had to find out the hard way that the person was lying about the reason they were selling them.
Maybe that really is the reason he's selling them, but I've seen this a million times and it's not fair for the buyers to get screwed. He's not gonna get the full price back for them, so I find it very hard to believe that saving a few cents per chip on the WSOPs will make any difference when it's all said and done.
