My fiance bought me a really nice mahogany chip case for my birthday and it came with these chips. The case is NOT for sale but I am throwing in 5 acrylic chip trays with lids and an unopened deck of Matsui plastic cards (regular index/bridge size). These are 7.5 gram suited plastic composite chips without inserts and are still in shrink wrap (150 white, 150 red, 100 blue, 100 black). The chip trays are lightly used (they housed my cash set before this case). I am asking $40 + shipping for this "starter set."
Ditto on the shipping part. I'm ashamed to say but these are the chips used in the regular game I play at and I'm sure he wouldn't mind more chips if they didn't cost an arm & a leg to get to him.
Where are you? I'd need them shipped to Chicago, Illinois.
My friend got of set of these too.. They're from bombay company. These feel great compared to the 11.5g chips. For a starter set you cant go wrong. I'd say they're better than the faux clay chips.
Its all preference.. the faux clays have sound and feel. These chips look better and have comparably feel and sound to them unlike the regular 11.5g chips.

I'd say your on crack.
Seriously though - IMO these are better than the dice chips and I like the looks & edgespots (diamonds) of these "suited" chips a lot. The faux clay I think feel MUCH better than these chips, though. Unfortunately the faux clay don't have any edgespots which bothers me quite a bit. I do agree that this is a good starter set which explains why we still play with them in a $1/2 Killpot game ($40 pots and we're playing with cheapo chips...)
Thought I would post a few more pics. I took the chips out and put them into the racks and was a bit surprised. They are nowhere near as slick as the 11.5g suited I have felt (check out the stack of 160 chips). I actually had 180 fine, but got greedy and went for 200 before taking another pic. They sound a lot better than the metal insert ones too, no "clink". I know the weight is not the best, but I prefer lighter than heavier. This is a decent set at a great price! [$40 OBO]
If you don't end up selling this entire set, let me know and I might make you an offer on just the racks and Matsui deck. I don't really need 11.5g's that don't match the dice chips I currently have.
