Re: Wanted: Casbah Club

Again!? I don't think I have the colors you want, but one of these days you may end up getting the ones that I do have if you make a decent offer. However with the price of gas, you may have to drive up to get them unless I'm playing golf in your neck of the woods.

I seem to remember someone (warewulf?) saying that TRKing is willing to remake these on request. Try searching the forum for casbah.

it was me!

it was actually me that said you can get more printed from dennis (unless warewolf did as well). I actually got 300 $25 chips printed and yes it is $.60 cents a chip. I was just wondering if there were any out there that needed a home. I am interested in $5 chips!

Re: it was me!

The 60¢ was probably from me from the Texas Holdem forum, that was what Dennis quoted me. I think warewolf told me that he was quoted 50¢ the day before I spoke to Dennis. This was quite some time ago, it was when TR King still had some of the original Casbah inventory in stock. Glad to hear that Dennis still has the dies and is willing to make more.

I don't know if he has a quantity price break on these chips. His breaks are usually at 1,000 and 5,000 for the edge spotted chips. I need some $5s and $25s as well. If I can't find any, maybe I'll just place an order with him or maybe we can place a combined order to see if we can get some sort of price break. (the break at a 1000 was a nickel on the edge spotted chips).

Did you know that TR King was originally started and owned by Paul Endy Sr? Father of the guy that started Paul-Son?.

That was the first thing Dennis said to me when I asked if he would consider stamping some more. He specifically said that the same thing would happen again, which leads me to suspect that it has something to do with the amount of foil that is being transfered to the chip with that die.
