Thank you for all the kind words. Immediately after posting this last night I talked to my mom until 3am. Even though she's only an hour and a half away it felt like she was on the other side of the globe.
Do me a favor: if you're lucky enough to still have your mom around, give her a call today and tell her you love her.

It certainly was not my intent to post this thread asking for handouts. A lot of people have so very generously offered to help in so many different ways. All of you have my deepest, most sincere thanks from the very bottom of my heart.
Please don't take my next statement as being unappreciative or ungrateful; that is not how I want it to come across. I want to respectfully ask that no more donations be offered. I know you would not be offering if you did not want to help, but I feel like this is my responsibility. And while guilty really isn't the right word, it's close.
