The first 1003 set is 600 chips, racks, and carrier. It's a 25/100/500/1000 setup and 180 of the 600 chips are new and so is the carrier. The rest are in very good condition and you really can't tell them apart from the new ones. This set is for the perfectionist. That is, every chip in this set has been inspected and cleaned (if needed) by me. In case you don't know the 1003's edge spots are not always good which means it takes more chips to get good ones. Even then it wasn't good enough and I figured out a trick way of cleaning up the edges on ones that are workable. I spent so many hours on this process it made me sick. Bottom line even new the perfectionist isn't going to like all the dirty edge spots. So if you want it right this is the set for you. $300 shipped.

200 x green
200 x black
100 x purple
100 x yellow (all new)

Next set is for (500) 1003's 25/100/500 (same quantities of each denom) and are used with dirty edge spots. Racks are good for shipping but have damage. $115 shipped.

Brand new 500 Crown Wheatears with leather case (cards not included), also $115 shipped.

I have carefully thought about the prices of each set so I'm pretty firm on them. You can't get these sets for less anywhere. More pictures available by request. If you want feedback on me you can check it out on Ebay under username poorboy48.

Thanks for looking
gl sir

Re: 1003's and Crown clay sets FS

I have some 1003's but more of a cash game setup. I might be interested the tourney setup. What was the issue with the 1003 edgespots? To be honest my set is practically new itself but haven't seen to many huge issues with them?

Also with set #2, how dirty is dirty?

The clay overlaps the edge spots and or the color bleeds into them. These edge spots are meant to be perfect unlike a compression clay. So the dirty ones are just that and are used. I found around 10% of them were like this. If you look at your chips you will see what I mean. There is a noticeable difference in the stacks.

Just a side note, they weigh between 10.5-10.9 grams each.

Re: 1003's and Crown clay sets FS

I am also unfamiliar with the cleaning and maintaining of clays over long periods so I'm not as sure about the 2nd set but can I get pics on how set 2 is looking? Mostly to see if I have the time/skill to put towards the 2nd set before considering the 1st.

The edges can't be cleaned on the 2nd set. It was only if the edges were a little dirty that I could work with it. I will try to get a picture of both so you can see the difference. Again, this is for the perfectionist who cares like I do.
