CHIPS SOLD AT LAST!!
I bought these chips for the case and was wondering whether anyone might want them. There was a thread before Christmas where Stevo asked about chips for his young daughter -- these would be perfect!! (I know it is after Christmas, but there seem to be a number of CTers with children!!) It would make a nice little starter set for a young soon-to-be-chip-fanatic.
I am asking $15 for the 300 chips (no case, obviously), which would include shipping. The breakdown is:
100 yellow
50 pink
50 green
50 blue
50 lavender
These are the standard composite chips. They don't seem quite as heavy or "clinky" as the suits chips I often use (don't have any here for comparison). I have not opened the stacks, but the set included one extra of each chip stuck onto a piece of cardboard to show the chips. (The picture is the sample chips on the cardboard.) They are not terribly slick and have a moderately soft surface with some texture. But hey -- for 15 bucks??
If someone would like a bigger set, i.e., double this, I might be willing to go back to the store, but it is over an hour drive from my house. (And hope they still have some left!)
Sorry the thumbnail is a little light -- the imageshack image is closer to the real thing, but also a shade or two lighter than the actual chips.
