Chips: 734 | | | CLOSED *** 1780-BC-Club Desperado *** SOLD MUST SELL *** 1780-BC-Club Desperado *** BEST OFFER
My wife was recently scheduled for back surgery. The day before the operation, she received a message from the hospital saying that her insurance company would not cover the procedure because it was considered by them to be experimental surgery. Well, she has been in constant pain for almost a year now and is hell-bent on getting the problem corrected. She has rescheduled the procedure and we are going to have to pay for it out of our own pockets.
This set of Club Desperado chips was purchased as a replacement for my vintage set of T.R. Kings that I was hoping to retire. It seems a little frivolous now that we need the cash for something as important as surgery.
The set is brand new and has never been used. They have been oiled (a $500 value, LOL) and all the defective chips have been weeded out and replaced. It is most likely the only complete large set of these chips available in new condition. This is a great set for the player who is looking for large set of multi-colored edge-spot all clay chips on a budget. I will not break up the set and it is only available if you are willing to take them all.
I think everyone here knows the story behind these chips and their value. I paid $.50 per chip for 1480 of them and purchased an additional 300 chips for $.75 each from RichieStacks. My cost for the complete set of chips was $965. If anyone here is kind enough to offer an amount that is equal to or greater than my cost, I will include the items shown in the CHIPTALK MEMBER BONUS ITEMS picture; otherwise, these items will not be included. If more than one offer is received, the chips will go to the member making the highest offer. All actual shipping costs will be paid for by the buyer and will be shipped by the carrier of your choice. I reserve the right to refuse any offer made.
Thanks for looking,
Michael
P.S. Both the card set-ups are new and unused but the red Dal Negro deck has been opened and the Copag box has been opened.

Sorry to hear the reason for this sale.
Unfortunately I don't have the money to take them all, but I'm interested if you would consider splitting the set up.
All the best!

Please folks, I am not trying to make a profit on these chips, how about an offer. Please do not make me sell them on the dreaded Ebay!
