They are "sticky" like bud jones chips. so they actually stack nicely.

Can you provide more information about these chips? Are they ceramics? How is the sound & stackability?

They are plastic (as are Bud Jones chips). These do not have any metal insert in them. They are not a slick plastic and are slightly "sticky" with one another so they actually stack well.

After doing a little bit of research I think they are actually made by Abbiati:
