Howdy Folks,
I am offering sample sets of obsolete Swedish casino chips. These chips are available in full playable sets and I wanted to offer my fellow ChipTalk members the first opportunity to try them out. For $10 I'll send you a stack of ten chips to shuffle, riffle, clink & clack or whatever makes you happy. (7 black, 1 blue, 2 red)
These are the real thing, compression molded clay chips from a closed European casino. The majority of these chips are in amazing shape, sharp edges, all the cross hatching still visible. Some show normal wear for casino chips, but still look good. I will randomly select your stack of ten chips so you get a realistic sample of their overall condition.
Collectors call this the "Scroll" mold and it has not been known to ever have been used by a US casino. It has been used in the UK and is still being produced for casinos in many countries. I promise to bore you with lots more information if you are interested in ordering a full set.
These might be good candidates for custom labels.
The chips are great looking and are lightweight (8gms) when measured against the current trend of poker chips in the US. Although we all have valid opinions about how much a good chip "should" weigh, I encourage you to give these babies a try and have an open mind. Afterall, casinos all over the world use lightweight plastic chips called jetons in varying sizes and weights, but all are still "genuine" casino chips, serve their purpose well and are highly sought after. (This concludes my lecture about chip weight)
I am letting them go here for
50 cents each for purchases of 200+. They are available in many colors and the first people to speak up can choose their own breakdown quantity. If you like the chips I will email you scans & pictures of all the colors available.
*NEW 11/11 @ 5:40pm* I'm sorry but I can't pick out specific edgespot colors for you. Sorry if this rains on anyone's parade, but I already pulled one spot color specific set and I can see this isn't going to work out. The beauty of these chips is the mix of colors. They look like they're having a party on the table. That is how they were used in the casino and I think it looks fabulous!
Genuine casino chips, cool vintage look, completely unique and CLAY. I guess that about covers it. Oh yeah, pictures.

PM me with questions etc. If you got this far, thank you for reading the whole thing.
