If you could put together enough of those it would make a really sweet set. $1's are easy enough to find, but I doubt that you would be able to find enough of the other denoms to make it work. It seems as though every time I try and do this it turns out to be a frustrating experience.

I was told by a guy on ChipGuide that the $5's were very rare. Maybe they were mostly destroyed when the casino changed hands, but maybe there is a bunch of them sitting in someone's attic somewhere. Not sure how all the $1's are available without the $5's but I have had the same experience as you - frustrating. I like the $25's and $100's as well, but really I just want another case game set so the $5's would be all I need. I would even consider labeling some blanks with rippedsheets vinyl labels, but the edgespots really make the chip and we all know ASM won't budge on their edgespot options. Besides here, ebay and ChipGuide, I really don't know where to go to look for these chips.....kind of a bummer.

I wouldn't count on finding them. I'd say your chances are fairly low.

One thing you could do if you really like the $1 chips is to have them make you $5 chips with a similar design. They probably have the same graphic, you would just have to change the spelling or something.

the $5 and 50¢ hhr chips have been going for around $10 + shipping for a single chip on ebay, the $25 hhr's for around $40 before shipping, and the $100 hhr's for $100 + shipping...
