Re: Announcement: Labeling your chipsets with laser technology is COMING SOON!
Update: Currently, I'm working with one-up samples. Next weekend, I'll notify everyone on the list and work on chip samples of their artwork. I plan to be ready by July 4th.
Thanks,
Jason

Jason -
Here's another random thought.........
Dye ceramic blanks (ie..the all the buzz about faux) and then laser.

Hi Jim, how've you been? Does the ceramic work well with dye? They could be dyed after the laser process to color the lasered lettering/image too.

Re: Announcement: Labeling your chipsets with laser technology is COMING SOON!
Currently, I can make one-up chips to sample the process and offer ideas for designing the artworks. I have a heavy work load and I'm several weeks away from completion. Any long-standing Chiptalk member who wishes to know why this is being delayed can send a request by PM.
Thanks,
Jason

Hey....sorry I missed your reply. Haven't tried dying ceramic, but my guess is that they would (being pourus and all).
Anybody out there dying faux chips let me know.....I will send you a few ceramic blanks if you don't mind testing them in your next faux batch.

I've dyed a few hundred FC's. Can't imagine it would work with ceramics.
If you want, send some blanks over. Got plenty of dye.

I was just thinking about this.
On FC's, if you were to laser the chips, plain chip, dyed chip, chip laser cut THEN dyed.
