now that our regular 2007 tourney season is over, im getting ready to start up a small 10 week season that will run along side of our 2008 season.
anyone care to help me flesh out a flier.
im trying to get it all on one page (excluding the blind schedule).
concerns:
-enough or too much info?
-i normally dont allow late entries but winter weather seems to slow folks down around here. is 3BB's too much, too little, just right?
-i decided to use the same pt system that the CT tourney uses. i dont see any reason that it would not work.
-should i add some additional freeroll starting chips to say the top 3 season finishers. something like an additional 10k, 5k, 2.5k for 1,2,3?
-is the 4 weekly game rule a stupid one?
-i allow xfering of seats/entries for freerolls but should i limit this to something like "you may ony xfer your seat to someone that has played during the season"?
-anything missing? or anything you see that i should add or remove?

No-Limit Texas Hold’em Poker Tourney
Season X
- Season will be 10 weeks long.
- Free-roll to take place on the 11th week for the top 10 point earners that have played in at least 4 of weekly events.
- 20 seats will be available per week.
- Seats are first come-first served. If you pay me in advance, I will reserve a seat for you and your chips will be blinded off until you arrive.
- If you arrive after 20 stacks have been placed, you will be put on the alternate list and will only be able to enter the game after someone has busted out.
- If you arrive late and there are still seats available, you may still buy in but will forfeit 3 BB’s per round that you are late. (e.g. If a player arrives after the first card of the second level is dealt, they will forfeit T450 in chips)
- Weekly prize pool equal [(Total buy-ins * $100) – (1 buy-in)]. 1 buy-in will be pulled out weekly for final freeroll. (e.g. if week 1 has 8 players, the prize pool for that week will be $700)
Week 11 Freeroll:- There will be a total of $1000 in the free-roll prize pool at the end of 10 weeks.
- Starting chips for the week 11 free-roll will be (Total season points * T200). (e.g. if you finish last place every week and make it into the free-roll, you will start the free-roll with T10000 in chips).
- Seats are transferable.
House decisions are final and will be governed by Robert's Rules of Poker Also, there will be no rabbit-hunting or fishing the muck. The following formula is used to determine the number of leader board points each individual participant is awarded each week:
