Chips: 125 | | | 2 - 7 Triple Draw Question... I am bringing 2-7 triple draw into our mixed game this weekend and had one question:
We usually sit 8 people for this mixed game, but from what I've seen online, 6 is the max for a 2-7 hand. I understand why they do that, because of the amount of cards going around the table. Should I have two people sit out during each hand of the 2-7? If so, which two? The two to the left of the dealer? Thanks a lot in advance for the help! |

Perhaps because of the nature of dealing multiple rounds of multiple cards, the dealer should be one of the players sitting out? Maybe the dealer and the player to his left should sit out, everyone else plays (if you have 8 players).

1) reshuffling discards and reusing for later draws
2) shared community card, exposed on board for all
3) Sit out the players to the RIGHT of the dealer. That way, the dealer is around to do his/her job, then can take a quick walk afterwards if they want... without messing up the game flow. |

Just make sure folks don't throw their hole cards in muck before you start to shuffle it. I think we've played it with upto 9 folks but rarely, if ever, does everyone call the 1st round. |

Either the above or double draw would prevent having to sit out. |

Chips: 1,514 | | | Re: 2 - 7 Triple Draw Question... I have played 2-7 a few times with mediocre success and both times it was 6 handed. If I were to have more players then I would have the dealer and the person on their right sitting out. I have never liked reshuffling the muck so sitting players seems the best option to me. Also I realize that RROP says different than me, but who is Robert really??? | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
