Last night 100$ buy-in tourney at the house and had a situation at final table that i wanted to verify. I was up from table for second saying seeya to player leaving when it happened and caught just tail end of the action.
2 players see flop. first of the 2 to act after the flop insta all-ins. while second player is thinking about it the dealer says 21...... Player thinking then instantly calls.
the player who went all in then moves his chips in (was 21000 but only small handful of chips with 4 5000's and 1000) so easily not seen stack behind his arms).
Player quickly says i thought is was 2100.... and states he didnt realize it becuase he couldnt see the players stack and because deal said 21 he didnt ask to see the stack.
well the call was made and dealer appologized for the miss undersatnding (and also stated it would be hard to be 2100 when we colored off the 100's about 15 (or less) minutes earllier).
Pretty sure right ruling was made but wanted to verify there were no miss understanding of action rules i was missing here.
BTW house was the Winner

just under 1300$$... if i didnt have to help mother in law get rid of a tree growing roots through her old michigan basement..

..it would be more chips for me
