I am just finishing my poker room in the basement and wired the room for surround sound and a flat screen TV. Right now I have a temporay 13" that is on a table in the corner. We want to leave the TV on (Mets, Yankees, etc.), but we have one guy who gets very easily distracted even when the TV is not on - and he is the first one to put the TV on. Music is always good and no one gets distracted.

Either on as background "white noise". ESPN on mute, whatever play list or shuffle 40 gig of Muzak. Sometimes, nothing. I really don't pay that much atttention to it or invest much energy in it.
