Consecutive min-raises

You are playing $1/$2 no-limit at a US casino and consecutive players decide to min-raise. What is the sequence of total bet amounts?

First $2 raise takes you to $4. The second $2 raise takes you to $6.

Re: Consecutive min-raises

The big question is what the third and fourth raises take you to. Please choose a poll option.

Re: Consecutive min-raises

Unless you play in WA where there is a state law max 4 bets. So it would go 1,2,4,6,8, done. (for some reason the SB doesn't count as a bet, but the BB does...hmmm)

Re: Consecutive min-raises

Based on the poll results everybody has this figured out.

Much debate about this lately but most agree that the minimum raise (in no limit) is equal to the previous bet/raise (unless a player goes all in for less than the minimum)...so if everyone min-raises, the minimum raise amount remains the same on each player's turn to act (in this case that amount would be $2).
