Were there special rules for that tourney? Or, heads up, is it okay to show your cards? | I think one of the announcers mentioned that it was legal in that heads up tourney to show your cards. Normally it would be a penalty, from what I remember. And is ok in a cash game?
Occasionally a player in our games will show a card or two, but we make sure that they are heads up with the other person before they are allowed to do it. I did a little searching to find out not long ago since one person claimed it was an automatic fold if cards were shown, but I didn't think it was.

In tourneys you can't show your cards. Your hand is supposed to be killed if you expose one or both cards. |

Ring game - it's okay to show cards if only 2 players remain in the hand
Tourney: it's only allowed when the tournament is down to the final 2 players.
(That's if you go by Robert Rules) |

and I can't see a problem with that....

I don't allow it at my games. |

Since each headsup match only consists of two players anyway, showing your hand should be allowed. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
