I thought the dealer BB and was LAST to act pre-flop.
my home games have ran this way for months.. is it wrong?

The BB always moves forward to the next available player...the other player will post the SB and be the dealer. |

When I first started playing my cell phone hold em game did it like you described so I swore up and down that was the right at my first home game  |

if your Dealer and your SB Then how can the BB act first? I don't get this?

It's great having the button heads-up... it is a very significant advantage. |

* Disclaimer: I know there are scenerios where the dealer could be last to act preflop (i.e. dealer raises preflop and then another player re-raises) but I'm generalizing for this example. |

Exactly. Just post blinds in order and put the button in front of the SB, doesn't matter where the button was last hand.

last 5 months the dealer has been BB seeing as he acts last preflop. so I'll need to change it.
