The law is kinda of funny. It is illegal for the underage to enter poker tournaments but it was ok for them to enter "Magic the gathering" tournaments for big $$. Some of those kids are now pro players at poker.
Technically, I think it would be illegal to have $10 buyin for underage teen tournaments but in practice, unless some parents make a fuss it should be ok.
