Got the WII set up on the 65", Guitar Hero on the 36", pool table and darts in the garage, and PLENTY of food. I wasn't too concerned about "the LAW", but promised the nervous wife I'd ask some smart people.
Did that, then asked here. (j/k)
Best of luck,

They should televise that...
"Well Vince, we're back here on the Chocolate Poker Tour.
That's right Mike, moments ago young Jeffery Michaels took a tough beat and was sent packing in 4th place. Which means we're now in the money! These 3 players have now locked up ATLEAST one jumbo Snickers.
But thats not what they're playing for, Vince. These 3 are no playing for a shot at 1 King Size Hershey Bar. Folks, we're not talking 'bout the Hershey bars you get at your local Publix, we're talking 'bout the kind you gotts go to Walgreens for. Then down the candy isle and on the top shelf kinda chocolate...
Let's head down to the table and get this action under way.
Well, the blinds are gonna be started off at 1 Reeses cup - 2 Reeses cups, with a Hershey kiss ante. Let's shuffle up and deal, here on the Chocolate Poker Tour!"
I can see it now... |

Good luck!!! | Depending on where you live, you may be violating the letter of the law. However, like FoscoBurrows says above, this is a common practice among high school kids these days. No booze (very important) and go for it.
If you want it to be absolutely above-board, you should consider the free roll idea, but I, personally, wouldn't worry much. We play poker with my kids and their friends pretty often, and without any problems.
L
PS About the no booze thing. I had a friend whose daughter threw a pool party. Uninvited kids showed up with beer, which they stashed in her ice chest. Eventually the cops showed up because these uninvited kids were making too much noise. The cops saw the ice chest (and the kids drinking). They asked if the chest was hers, she said "yes," so they opened it. When they saw that it had beer, they arrested her for contributing to the delinquincy. This despite the fact that she was trying to get these kids to stop drinking and leave her house. Of course, the charges were eventually dropped, but the point is NO BOOZE. |

Stock | What's the legal age limit for gambling in your state? Check the lottery requirements.
The freeroll is probably safer, legally and otherwise. |
