Chips: 12,224 | | | Question to Floridians out there As I am about to move to Florida I decided to glance at the state laws pertaining to poker and I don't really like what I am seeing.
It appears it is illegal to own chips, tables, and/or to hold any type of game other than a penny-ante game which the state defines as any game where a player can win more than $10.00 per game, hand, and/or round.
Anyone care to share their experiences and/or knowledge of this? Do they allow Walmart to sell poker chips in Florida? Every Walmart I have been to in the last two years has been lousy with them, but none of them have been in Florida so I figure this is a pretty good litmus test - I Walmart won't sell something in Florida then you know it has to be illegal.
Thanks. This is gonna suck.

Where I live there is a place called Sun Fun where you can buy all kinds of poker chips and also poker tables. My neighbor bought one last week and we played on it Friday night.
We also have lots of casino boats and there are a few Indian Casinos where you can play for higher stakes than what is allowed at the Dog Track Casino's.
Right now is the buyers market for buying a home where I live. There are about 12,000 homes on the market and that is about how many are sold a year.
The last two years we got hit bad by the hurricanes, but before that I have lived here all my life and never realy seen a bad one.
Good Luck,
Roland Shoff
P.S. I am also an insurance agent and can help you out if you need it. |

The drivers are the worst in history with no rhyme or reason for their actions, which is strange since all they talk about down there is Nascar. The smell of old people is always in the air too. Good luck going out for breakfast. It usually only takes 15 minutes before they finally bring you a cup of coffee. It also takes a little getting used to having every house be a one story dwelling. Even if you're rich, you look poor. And if you're poor, you're probably from there.

I live in a two story house.
The people who are the bad drivers are from usualy from up North.
And I always get my coffe quickly but that is probably because I am nice to the waitress and wink at her. |

Did you have scrapple with your eggs this morning?
Any bad drivers from up north must be trying to fit in.
So it only takes about 8 minutes for you to get your coffee as opposed to the 15 minutes it takes everyone else who points at their mug and begs Please

Chips: 1,670 | | | Re: Question to Floridians out there Funny you should ask about the smell,
I moved my grandmother into a brand new house last weekend and my mom bought her almost all new furniture and it already smells like old people.
The old mall in Melbourne is where are the old people walk. So they walk around like next to the wall on the inside of the Mall. They have actualy made a tornado of Old People Smell by going round and round and round the mall. (this is a true story)
And no I live in an actual 2 story house, not a condo.
The difference between a zoo up north and a zoo in the south is that at the zoo's in the south next to the description of the animal their is a description on how to cook them. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
