Okay so somewhere on here there's a 20 page thread about a Mini Big Game that Racer96 was trying to get put together. A small game happened (which was a great time) but there was supposed to be another, bigger game. Come to find out that Canadians plan ChipTalk events like they play poker (i.e. not very well) so I'm taking the bull by the horns.
My wife told me the other day that she is taking her Girl Scout troop to Great Wolf Lodge overnight on June 2 - 3. Home alone on a weekend night? Par-tay! I took the weekend off work. Let's play the pokerz!
I'll work out the logistics later, but I have a garage that can easily fit 3 tables (if I clean it up, of course; I've had a 45 person tourney in there before) and an empty house that people can sleep in if they want. It'll be a two day/one night event, but that's a lot of time to play. I'm thinking of starting with a tourney Saturday afternoon, cash games through the night, and then either another tourney Sunday morning or more cash games. Everyone goes home by say 6 pm on Sunday and the wife is never the wiser! How could this plan possibly go wrong???
Where: Burlington, Wa. It's about 1 1/2 hours north of Seattle, about 1 1/2 hours south of Vancouver B. C., and about 30 minutes south of Bellingham.
