Interest check: ma/nh game for getting better at NL cash

As has come up in my request for NL cash game help, I am looking to start a monthly or bi-monthly cash game for purposes of learning e game better. The game would be something along the lines of .5/1 NL and we'd play while also taking some time to give advice to each other and ask for advice in tough spots.

I am more than willing to host this, but I am up in Dover NH, and people here don't always seem eager to male the trip. I am also willing to drive to wherever this is if someone else is more centrally located and willing to host, and I am also interested in rotating the hosting.

If it helps entice people, I'll provide free beer and dinner if it is my house, and cap the rake at $14/pot, with $1 at every $5.

J/K about the rake, but free food and drink at my house.

So, respond if you're interested, and let us all know if you have non-CT friends local and interested, and once we see we have enough people to warrant moving the discussion forward, we'll try to find scheduling that works.

I'm not far from Dover. I probably couldn't be a regular, but I'd like a good cash game to play in every now and then and could probably rustle you up a few players every now and then.

Of course I'm in. We should do the first Saturday of every month as a starting game, then bump up the frequency if the game kicks off regularly. I could do Friday's also (might even be easier to reach either you or Bergs house from work in Manchester). I can host as part of the rotation as well.

Saturdays would be far better. Going north from MA on a friday night blows donkeys, and not in a good way!

I'd be in and we could use a different chipset each time for at least a year between just 3 or 4 of us!

even i would make the 4+ hour drive every couple months but robinh has to promise to give me some limit pointers every once in a while...

I would be interested in this game as well. JM is right, trying to get anywhere on a Friday evening from the Boston area Sucks. That said, we tend to go out of town quite a bit on Saturdays during the summer.

I could probably host semi regular on Fridays if Westwood is convenient for people. Can maybe sneak over to Dover a few times this summer from York ME.

On a related note - has anyone heard from Spacemonkey in 2011? I used to pick his brain a bit at his Friday games, but have not heard a word from him since Dec/Jan. When Jose and I left the last game - he said the year end tourney would be in Feb. Wonder if he skipped town with all those $2 rakes?
