Chips: 1,845 | | | I don't remember the name of it, but homepokertourney.com had reviews of a bunch of the clocks. I know a couple of them handled league stuff.
If you're into the buil-it-yourself route, I did all of my league stuff in Excel. Wasn't too hard once you get the main sheets done. |

Chips: 1,448 | | | thanx dad for the link, only problem is sometimes when we're playing there is no internet hookup so it cant be web based...
has to be installed on the laptop.....
hey spaceman,
where did you get formulas for calculating league stats?
i dont officially keep stats yet, but am really wanting to get into the whole shabang of keeping track of our records amongst our core group...
I would hate to be such a lazy piece of sh!t and ask this of you,
but any way you'd be willing to send me a copy of you xcel sheets so i can get the jist of how you set it up, and then i can modify it on my own to suit my needs?
basically i'm just looking for a foundation that i can re-create....
if not, i understand, coz hard work and effort doesnt go unpaid...
free,

Chips: 40 | | I think that the DR Neau Tournament Manager has the best league management and customization capabilities. There is a nice BB for support as well. The basic version is free. http://drneau.com/TournamentManager.htm |

| I pulled my formulas out of the air basically. Take a look at some of the other threads here in the Home Game section where a few of us have discussed this quite a bit for different takes on formulas. In a nutshell, I give 100 pts. for 1st on down to 10 for 10th or worse. I also have bonus points for cash, bounties, and best hands. I take the 12 best scores of everyone's 16 events and that's their final total.
Post or PM me your email and I can send you some example sheets from my book. I basically have a sheet for each event that we play. This sheet tracks players, buy-ins, rebuys, finish, payouts, etc. I then pull data off of each sheet to a main sheet where I tally various things such as point totals, total buy-ins and rebuys, and some other stuff. VLOOKUP is your friend! |

That kept me from trying it out. The league tracking ability did look pretty cool though. |

I'm creating a website that allows you to create your own poker league - seasons, tournaments, etc..
I'm in the process of transferring the website to my ISP, and the address will be www.homepokerclub.net when it goes live.
If you want you can look at my own club here: http://www.networkers.ca:9090/mypoke...e.php?clubid=1
Also, here's a test club with multiple seasons: http://www.networkers.ca:9090/mypoke....php?clubid=29
I'm hoping to have it ready to go this weekend. |

Chips: 1,448 | | hey steve,
i really like your website and the way you can track it all there...
only dilemma for me, is that i need something that i can store on a harddrive (as opposed to website) simply coz my ghetto friends dont all have internet access....
but nonetheless, i'll check it out fo'sho, lemme know when its up and functional, i'll even help you debug it | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
