this is my second and current one. did something different for the racetrack, i used a sheet of plexiglass and painted the back side black. rope lights, moleskin, volara, marine vinyl, all 3/4" ply.

That racetrack looks pretty reflectve. Doesn't that reflect the cards? Is that a problem?

OK, with all these awesome tables already here, I was almost too embarrassed to post my "table". But for completeness' sake, I will post my humble offering as an example of low-budget-but-gets-the-job-done:
Construction consists of three yards of faux suede (found in the bargain bin at JoAnn's, $7/yd., ) over automobile headliner foam/fabric (also from JoAnn's, $11/yd. ), secured with elastic and safety pins. Total Cost: $55. . . as long as you don't count the dining room set!
I think I have that exact table and chairs at home. I cannot see the table but my chairs look just like those and the table legs look similar. Nice choice... Doesn't matter what you play on as long as you are having fun!!
