"The Clock" Home Edition soon to be released.

(This is copy of an email I received this morning)

Hello,

You are receiving this email because you probably asked to be added the the email notification list for "The Clock" Home Edition. If you received this email in error, or if you simply wish to be removed from the list, or if you received mail to more than one address, please just reply to this email and you will be immediately removed.
And please accept my apologies for the error.

Well, it's been a LONG wait, for some of you over two years! I tried to get "The Clock" Home Edition produced by finding sponsors who would absorb all of the cost, but the poker industry has been a moving target for the last two years and I could never nail down a solid agreement.
So, rather than wait any longer, I have decided it's time to sell The Clock the old fashioned way

There are three versions of "The Clock":

Pro Edition, $1,500, that sells to large casinos and card rooms Club Edition, $500, that sells to smaller casinos and card rooms, and to private clubs and charity events

and soon,

Home Edition, for home use only, not for commercial use.

The price isn't set but will almost definitely be around $30 (or maybe a little less). It is almost ready for release, no really, this time I mean it, and should be available in a couple of weeks. It will be available as a download for now (later it will sell as packaged software), with payment through PayPal or credit card.

There is very little difference between the three versions, the most significant is that the home version is not licensed for commercial use, you can only use it for 'not for profit' home tournaments. But other than that you are basically getting almost the exact same clock used at WSOP, WPT, and most of the major casinos around the world. It even comes complete with the actual event structures for many of those tournaments, so you really can run your own mini WSOP with the same clock you see on ESPN and Fox Sports.

As a thank you to those of you who have waited patiently (and also to the lucky recent additions on this mailing list) I will make the clock available for $5 less than whatever the final price turns out to be.
When it's ready to go I will give you a special web page to go to for the purchase, just make sure to use the same email address that I am writing to now (for verification), so let me know if you have a new address.

For those of you where I made promises of a better deal, I have a memory like a sieve, so please send me an email to remind me of the deal I offered.

Thank you.

Paul Westley

We use the homepokertourny.com clock. It's priced right.

I agreed. For home use anything over cent is too high.

I use a basic digital kitchen timer. Takes up a whole lot less room than a laptop.

I'm interested in the feature that allows you to time two tourney's at once...this would be nice touch to my side games

This would go very well with a set of dice chips.

To each his own I guess. It works just fine for me.

lol...nothing against a kitchen timer but what I like about tournament software is that I can let the whole tourney run without touching a thing and secondly, I like the flexibility if I do need/want to adjust something.
