Hazard came in two forms. One version essentially became modern day craps. The other is more like Sic Bo that is played in some modern casinos. TR King sells a table layout for this second variety. You can see it here: http://www.trking.com/antique.html
You're betting on the various possible outcomes of the roll of three dice.

Chips: 53 | | | I use my chips for blackjack from time to time. I've used them for Russian Poker once as well, but only because a friend insisted on playing it. |

Great game to play when you want to kill a bunch of time, drink some beer, and not put a lot of money on the line. |

Chips: 6 | | | we play a game called "Stacks and Stacks and Stacks"... we ususally play it when everyone throws in 5 bucks for dealer choice for some fun... The purpose of this game is to NOT have the lowest card
Dealer chooses the amount of the 3 stacks of chips...
Everyone puts 3 stacks of chips in front of them (however much the dealer chooses) and then the dealer deals...
Everyone gets 1 card... Ace is 1 and K is high... person to left of dealer is the first to act... he looks at his card and decides if he wants to stay or pass... when he passes he takes the person to his LEFTS card... then the next person decides whether they will stay or pass...
EX: if i went first and i had a 2 i would pass with guy next to me and he would give me his card and i would give him mine... if i got a ACE from him I would be screwed bc i now know i have the lowest card in the game...
everyone decides whether they pass or stay... and when it gets to the dealer and he wants to pass... he flips the top card off the deck for his "pass"...
ONE "awesome but friggin annoying sometimes" RULE APPLIES... say i have a KING and someone wants to pass to me... i can flip the KING over and say (enter "denied" word/s here)... and that person is stuck with their card...
the person with the lowest card has to put a stack in the middle... the deal goes to the next person to the left... the cards that were used in the previous hand are set aside... if you run out of cards re-shuffle and continue....
Another rule is that if 2 players have the same card and someone has an overcard then they both lose... also when it gets to heads up and each player has 1 stack left and they both have the same card... then they both lose and they split the pot...
its a lot of fun... lemme know if you have any questions....

Chips: 26 | | Yeah I've played a variation of this with loonies instead of chip stacks (chip stacks are a good idea for dealers choice tho, never thought of that) Also called chase the aces or screw your neighbor.
The one I played also included jokers, and they were lower than the ace.
Also when everyone flips their cards over at the end, anyone who has paired up (I have a 7, you have a 7)(or trips) is safe, even if they have the lowest card (it goes to the next lowest), so a king can lose if everyone pairs up but that king Quote: |

Chips: 1,583 | | We call that game Pass the Trash. We also play a game by the same name but you get seven cards, then pass three to the left, and two to the right, then 1 across, or skip a guy left or right!!! I love both of these games!! Great Dealer's choice!! Quote: |
